Carson had an easy day today. His school had early release today, so he got out at 12:30. Plus, today was Jump Rope For Heart day. All he had to do was go to school, jump rope, enjoy some heart-healthy snacks, eat lunch, and go home. Now he has a long weekend to look forward to.

Jamie didn't go to school today because she was coughing quite a bit during the night and this morning. She was fine during the day, though. I probably could have sent her to school. Right now she is refusing to go to sleep and pitching a fit because apparently she wants a cookie. So do I.

Caleb had a great day. He loves it when both the big kids are home. Compounding his joy was the fact that Grammy and Grampy came over tonight to babysit and brought pizza.

Vic and I went out to Tybee and ate at the Dolphin Reef. It's always nice to be out alone, but we were a little disappointed that they were serving a buffet. They were also offering a limited menu, but it was nothing we wanted. So, the buffet it was. It was good, but not quite worthy of the price tag, plus, buffets are too fast! We got home before the kids were in bed. We thought about driving around for the next hour (really, we did), but decided to head home. We'll just have to plan another night out soon. :)
