February 14, 2009 Happy Valentine's Day!

I woke up this morning and attempted to make heart-shaped chocolate chip muffins and sausage balls. The sausage balls were good, but the muffins weren't very heart shaped and they were over cooked, so they got thrown out. Oh well, I get points for effort, right? :)

Carson and Jamie stayed over at Grammy and Grampy's house until lunch time. Then Vic and Caleb picked them up and took them to McDonalds for a Valentine's Day lunch. They spent the afternoon playing Webkinz, Toontown, and playing outside some. It was rainy on and off this afternoon, so they weren't outside too much. Which means the house is a big mess now.

So, we had a pretty quiet Valentine's Day and that was nice. I forgot to mention that last night Vic brought home flowers and my favorite take-out Indian food for me. We decided last night was our best chance for a quiet dinner, since we only had one kid with us. It was very nice! :)
