Vic took Caleb to church and Sunday school this morning. Carson and Jamie stayed home with me and my crazy coughing. We went to Publix and to the Dollar Store. They earned two dollars each helping Grammy and Grampy do yard work last week, so they wanted to go shopping at their favorite place, the good old Dollar Store.
Carson got a can of silly string, which he used to decorate our cars, the back door and the play set. He also got a weird-looking monster head that squirts water out of its nose. It's very nice.
Jamie choose a purple wig and decided to save her other dollar. I got Caleb a big bubble wand and a big bottle of bubbles. He had lots of fun blowing bubbles in the backyard this afternoon.
I did a bunch of cleaning up today and Vic put the primer on the wainscoting today and did some other work in the bathroom. It is coming along, slowly but surely. The day is coming that there will not be a toilet sitting in the downstairs hallway, and we will not have to run upstairs to pee. Hopefully soon.
Time to go enjoy the quiet house now and see what's on the DVR.
